“Baltic Amadeus infrastruktūros paslaugos“ was nominated as the most progressive service sector company by Lithuanian Knowledge Economy Forum. The company was acknowledged for creation of the new innovative services and their implementation.
President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė presented the award of “Knowledge Economy Company 2009” to the BAIP‘s General Manager Kazimieras Tonkūnas.
The Knowledge Economy Forum awards annually companies and organizations which excel in creating new products, services and innovations for society and science. Companies are awarded in three different sectors:
• the most progressive high-tech sector company,
• the most progressive traditional industry company,
• the most progressive service sector company.
“The willingness of business community to accept progressive solutions, to create unique products and new services and successfully develop business with high technology will help to recover the national economy and enter into the Lithuanian and world markets“, – said the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė to the members of Knowledge Forum who gathered to honour the most progressive Lithuanian companies.
More than 1500 companies have been invited to participate in the “Knowledge Economy Company 2009” awards. Only 14 organizations have reached the final selection stage: “Baltic Amadeus infrastruktūros paslaugos“, “CID Baltic“, “Exigen Services Lietuva“, Lawyers office Marcinkevičius, Čaikovski and partners JURIDICON, “Laboratorinių bandymų centras“, “Lifosa“, “Nematekas“, “Panevėžio energija“, “Precizika Metrology“, “Rifas“, “Sicor Biotech“, “Traidenis“, International Law and Business Higher School and “Žemaitijos pienas“.
