The group’s companies, based in all the Baltic countries, Norway and Rwanda, today work in three business areas: software services, digitization and IT infrastructure. They serve clients and carry out projects all over the world – from ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of organizations’ IT arrangements to the development of municipal- and national-level information systems and the provision of digitization solutions.
Software services
Development of national and smart city information systems, analytics and process automation solutions, expertise in the fields of aviation, defence and energy – those are the areas where the Novian software services companies have the most experience. Technologies
IT infrastructure is the foundation on which an organization’s information systems stand. Novian's technologies companies’ expertise extends to the creation of IT infrastructure as well as its maintenance and accommodation to new needs. The company’s portfolio of services includes solutions involving high performance computing devices and clusters of them, open source cloud technologies, highly available data and archiving, and more.
Digitization
Novian's companies are the leaders in the field of digitization in their home markets, providing the full digitization solutions for media publications and in the digitization of paper documents. This is because we have a variety of digitization solutions. They are provided by the world-renowned media monitoring software and digital services company Zissor, Novian in Lithuania and Estonia. The Novian group has more than 10 years of experience in this field.

Platform developed by Lithuanian specialists to help thousands of nanosatellites “communicate” in space
In cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) to develop solutions for nanosatellites to "communicate", Elsis PRO (from the end of 2023 acts as Novian Pro), a software development company, has already completed two major milestones of the Galaxy nanosatellite constellation data exchange platform.

Novian Technologies company has deployed a high-performance climate monitoring and modeling supercomputer at the WASCAL (West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use) IT Competence Center in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Its ability to process vast amounts of data has allowed scientists to more effectively develop tools to mitigate the effects of climate change, anticipate potential impacts, and help them adapt to the environmental changes that have already taken place, which are highly-important to West African countries.

Digitalized Lithuanian population and housing census
In the year 2011, the general census of the Lithuanian population and housing was carried out in the traditional way, which required the help of 6 thousand people hired as information collectors. Such a census required significant financial and time costs. To use state funds efficiently, the Department of Statistics of Lithuania decided to modernize this process and use new IT solutions implemented by the company Novian Systems.

Modernization of Bangladesh national data center
With the development of a comprehensive e-services delivery system in Bangladesh, the need has arisen for an efficient organization to connect e-services data centers to the state-owned cloud. Declaring the income of the population in Lithuania – in just a few minutes
The State Tax Inspectorate (STI) takes care of the administration of the main taxes in Lithuania. Its database contains almost 2 million of only natural persons considered taxpayers. To administer taxes more efficiently, the STI entrusted Novian Systems to develop a complex personal income tax information system. After making the necessary improvements, the STI can ensure simpler and more convenient collection and processing of data related to personal income tax. The information system, updated with other companies, also makes it easier to submit annual personal income declarations online, taking just a couple of minutes.

Modernization of financial services provided by Kyrgyz Post
Novian Technologies, together with another company belonging to the INVL Technology group - Etronika, has digitized the provision of Kyrgyz postal financial services to the country's population. In a mountainous country with a population of more than 6 million, some of whom live in remote areas, this has led to faster access to financial services, reduced administrative costs, and increased the reliability of financial postal services provided. The project implemented by Lithuanian companies is one of several major projects in the Kyrgyzstan financial sector development program financed by the World Bank.

VU MIDAS IT infrastructure design, equipment supply, installation, and maintenance
In the year 2015 the largest and most modern National open access research data archive (MIDAS) in the Baltic States has been launched at the Vilnius University Centre of Information Technology Development. In 2020, the number of Swedbank Internet Banking terminals installed and maintained by Novian Technologies in the Baltic States has exceeded 800.

In the XXI century, the public sector is facing a growing need for greater transparency and efficiency, and business-oriented quality management systems are being used to this end. To improve performance and make more efficient use of the received funding, the Lithuanian State Labor Inspectorate has implemented a performance management and monitoring system. It has also made it possible to reduce the administrative burden on businesses as their inspections have become more targeted. We’ve been operating in the market for more than 30 years – since 1988, the year of the founding of Baltic Amadeus in Lithuania, the company that gave rise to BAIP and the current Novian Technologies. The Novian group of companies is owned by INVL Technology, a company that invests in IT businesses.
