Implemented Projects
Vilnius University – Human Genome Research
“Novian Technologies” deployed an NVIDIA GPU-based HGX architecture infrastructure for the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University. This environment is used for human genome research and data analysis.
Vilnius University – HPC
In 2019, “Novian Technologies” implemented an HPC infrastructure at Vilnius University (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics). It became a strong foundation for AI and data science research in Lithuania’s academic community. The solution—based on NVIDIA GPUs (three NVIDIA DGX servers and NVIDIA InfiniBand networking) and a modern cluster architecture—is still used for research, studies, and commercial projects.
WASCAL and SADC – Climate Modeling in Africa
Four different projects were delivered, creating HPC cluster infrastructures based on NVIDIA technologies (InfiniBand networking, Bright Cluster Manager software). The solutions are used for climate change modeling and regional weather prediction.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department
An HPC infrastructure based on CPU computing was developed, including a fully designed NVIDIA InfiniBand network enabling ultra-fast data exchange for high-resolution weather forecasting and climate data analysis.
VSSA and DIRVA – NVIDIA AI Enterprise and AI Image Recognition Solutions
“Novian Technologies” supplied NVIDIA AI Enterprise licenses, which are used in the DIRVA project developed by Novian Pro – an advanced image recognition system deployed in Lithuanian customs.
The DIRVA project uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and NVIDIA GPU capabilities to automatically identify objects, goods, and potentially risky cargo from video streams.
AI models were developed using a GPU-accelerated training environment, with the AI infrastructure based on the Kubernetes platform, ensuring rapid training, testing, and deployment of new models.
