Novian highlighted its private AI capabilities at the German-Baltic-Ukrainian Defence Industry Conference 2026, held in Vilnius on 29 October. Participating as a sponsor, the group supported cooperation between defence organisations, industry and technology partners to strengthen Europe’s defence readiness.
For defence organisations, adopting AI comes with a practical challenge: putting the technology to work while keeping sensitive information within their own environment. The message “AI where the cloud can’t go” reflected this need for solutions that organisations can operate and control on their own premises.
Meeting these requirements takes software, models and infrastructure working together. By combining NATO-cleared developers, AI specialists and critical IT infrastructure expertise, Novian builds private AI solutions that connect agents working with internal documents and databases, language models adapted to defence terminology, and GPU infrastructure. Together, these components form an integrated technology stack that runs entirely within the organisation’s own environment.
Beyond private AI, the group’s experience in European defence projects spans situational awareness and planning, secure systems architecture, systems integration and data exchange. These capabilities provide a foundation for working with partners to address operational needs and develop practical defence solutions.
Organised by the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce, the conference brought together partners from Germany, the Baltic States and Ukraine to explore how closer cooperation can translate into stronger European defence capabilities.
