UAB Elsis Pro implements the EU structural funds financed project No. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856-01-0064 “Development of the Integrated Airspace Transport (Flight) Analysis and Management System (IOETAVS)”. The total value of the project is EUR 1.176.403,28, of which EUR 618.588,65 is the European Regional Development Fund.

Support for the implementation of the project was provided in accordance with Priority 1 of the Operational Programme for the European Union Funds Investments in Lithuania for 2014–2020 “Promotion of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation” No. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856 “Experiment”.

The project applicant UAB Elsis Pro is an information systems and software development company belonging to the Elsis group of companies. Founded in 2004, it has taken over the experience and specialists of Elsis’ design and programming unit.

The company employs over 40 highly qualified specialists: project managers, systems analysts, designers, programmers, quality engineers. In 2019, Elsis PRO performed programming works for more than 1.6 million euros.

During more than 15 years of operation, our company has accumulated extensive experience in executing public and private business orders, including in foreign countries.

With this project, UAB Elsis Pro aims to create a new innovative product – Integrated Airspace Transport (Flight) Analysis and Management System (IOETAVS).

The system is intended for air navigation service providers, i. y. companies / organizations that provide safe air navigation and airports that manage their own airspace until they transfer / take control of aircraft from air navigation service providers.

The system includes air transport space planning and optimization, which will help serve larger volumes of air transport with the same resources, reduce airplane delays, and ensure safe air navigation. The functionality and complexity of the system includes the SKAS planning and operational management cycle from preliminary long-term planning to tactical planning on the day of operations.

There are no airspace transport (flight) analysis and management systems in the world markets with such a high level of technology and functionality.

Three products (versions) will be introduced to the market: IOETAVS basic (up to 50 users), IOETAVS medium (250-300 users), IOETAVS maximum (over 300 users).

The target customers of the product are air navigation service (air traffic management) providers and airports to optimize their air traffic control activities.

The need for an airspace transport (flight) analysis and management system in the market is determined by the rapid development of the air transport network and the constantly growing demand for air navigation services. Also, with the increase in the volume of international flights, passengers and cargo, the airspace does not increase, therefore the number of flight delays and cancellations increases accordingly, which determines the need for air transport space planning and optimization in the market.

The system will be distributed worldwide in the civil aviation market.

The R&D activities performed during the project and the results obtained, as well as the developed product will be commercialized in Lithuanian and foreign markets. The planned sales in these markets will increase the company’s turnover and encourage investment and continuation of R&D activities in order to develop new technologies and products. The system developed during the project is relevant to the market, as there are currently no airspace transport (flight) analysis and control systems in the world markets with such a high technological level and functionality. The benefits of the project will be felt by all participants in the aviation sector in order to improve the quality of services and increase operational efficiency.

The project activities are planned to be completed by 21 September 2022.
