Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania has been joined by Elsis PRO, a software development company of Novian Group. It became a member in February 2022.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Association of Lithuania, which has been operating since 2019, brings together the country’s IT companies, higher education institutions and professionals. The organisation aims to strengthen the understanding of the value, impact and use of AI in areas of societal importance such as education, culture, health, environment and security.
“Today, as AI technologies are more and more commonly used in practice, they are also particularly relevant for the development of complex IT solutions. We aim to provide our clients with the highest level of services, so we believe that this membership will allow us to integrate more closely into the AI ecosystem and offer even more advanced solutions to the market,” said Rimvydas Jančiauskas, CEO of Elsis PRO.
Elsis PRO specialises in natural language processing, prediction and other tasks where AI techniques are applied.
According to Arūnas Ungulaitis, Head of the company’s Innovation Department, Elsis PRO uses AI technologies to develop solutions for aviation, defence and other areas. The company is involved in research and development (R&D), where AI technologies are being used increasingly, and cooperates with scientists in Lithuania.
Since its establishment in 2004, Elsis PRO has been developing software solutions for the public administration, finance and tax, healthcare, education, defence and security sectors. In October 2021, Elsis PRO joined the Novian group of software development and IT infrastructure services.
